WHY GOLFDTV

Why Our DTV Support Is Reliable and Secure

01

Direct Liaison with Thai Embassies Worldwide

Fact-based Operation

DTV is a newly introduced visa category, and grey areas exist that are not reflected on official websites — including discretionary criteria applied by individual immigration officers. We never rely on internet rumors or outdated information. Our team regularly contacts Thai embassies and consulates across the globe to stay current with official screening standards and real-world immigration practices. This meticulous fact-checking allows us to prepare documents that eliminate risk at the application stage.

02

Supervised by a Japanese State-Certified Legal Expert

Certified Legal Specialist — Immigration & Documentation (Gyoseishoshi)

Our visa acquisition framework and compliance procedures are fully supervised by a holder of Japan's national license in administrative law — a Gyoseishoshi (State-Certified Legal Specialist in Immigration & Documentation). This rigorous legal oversight ensures that every document we prepare meets both the letter and spirit of Thai immigration law, minimizing the risk of rejection due to errors or inconsistencies. When a Japanese-standard legal expert stands behind your application, confidence is built-in.

Frequently Asked Questions

AAbout DTV Visa
Yes, it's part of Thailand's official "Soft Power Visa Program." Golf is a government-recognized sport, and through our partnership with Ken's Golf Bangkok (Thailand PGA-certified), you can legitimately apply for a DTV visa. Our 96% success rate proves it works.
The DTV visa is valid for 5 years, making it Thailand's longest-stay option for digital professionals and retirees.
No. This program doesn't require golf skills. It's designed to support Thailand's sports promotion policy, not to develop athletes.
This document does not prove your permanent home address — it proves that you are legally present in the jurisdiction of the consulate where you apply. You can apply at any Thai consulate or embassy outside Thailand, including from a third country. [Examples] ① Applying at a Thai embassy in your home country → driver's license, utility bills, etc. ② Applying in Vietnam while traveling → Vietnamese tourist visa + hotel receipt, or a flight ticket to Thailand ③ Applying from any other third country → a valid visa for that country, proof of accommodation, or flight tickets ※ Rules for third-country applications vary by consulate (e.g. the Thai Embassy in Seoul may not accept applications from foreign nationals on tourist visas). Always confirm directly with the consulate before applying. ※ Nationals of certain countries designated by the Thai government as "Special Observation Countries" (e.g. Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan) may face restrictions when applying at Thai consulates in third countries. They may need to apply in their home country or submit additional documents such as a criminal record clearance. Please contact us in advance if this applies to you.
BPlans & Pricing
The plans differ in lesson frequency, course rounds, and facility access. Silver = 12 lessons/year, Gold = 6 one-on-one + 1 course round, Platinum = 12 one-on-one + 4 course rounds.
We accept bank transfers and credit card payments. Details will be provided after your initial consultation.
Plans cover your golf school program only. The agency add-on handles all visa paperwork and embassy procedures, plus provides the refund guarantee.
CRefunds & Guarantees
With the agency plan, we refund 100% of your school fees. Without the agency plan, we refund 50%. The 10,000 THB visa application fee is non-refundable in both cases. (Nationals of South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and Tunisia are exempt from this fee under bilateral agreements with Thailand.)
Yes, 50% of school fees. The agency plan provides 100% refund protection.
A bank balance certificate showing 500,000+ THB equivalent is required at the time of application. However, there is a growing trend of consulates also requesting 3 months of bank transaction statements (transaction history) in addition to the balance certificate. We recommend preparing both documents in advance to be safe.
DLessons & Facilities
At Ken's Golf Bangkok, our partner facility in Bangkok with indoor and outdoor ranges.
No, in-person lessons at the facility are required as part of the official program.
EGeneral
Thailand's Cabinet formally approved reverting the visa-free stay from 60 to 30 days on May 19, 2026 (effective 15 days after publication in the Royal Gazette). This effectively eliminates long-term visa-free stays for Japanese and most Western nationals. Note: South Korea, Brazil, Peru, Argentina, and Chile are exempt from this change under bilateral agreements and continue to enjoy 90-day visa-free stays. With a DTV visa, you can stay up to 180 days per entry (approx. 1 year with the in-country extension), making DTV more valuable than ever.
You must be 18+ to apply for a DTV visa. There's no maximum age limit.
Yes, each family member applies individually to their own plan. Contact us for family discounts.
